Enemy Becomes More Active On Islands Near Kherson Southern Defense Forces Spokesman

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, stated this in a comment to a Ukrinform correspondent.

"Last week, the enemy became more active in the Prydniprovske sector, but in a slightly different direction than the Antonivski Bridges. The Russians attempted to land on the Velykyi Vilkhovyi Island and increased their activity on the Bilohrudyi Island, where they are trying to deploy new assault groups to continue their attempts to take control of these islands," Voloshyn said.

According to him, the enemy's main goal is to control the islands in the southern part of Kherson.

As reported by Ukrinform, 265 combat clashe between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders were recorded on the front line over the past day, November 9.
