Lower House Speaker, Kuwaiti Ambassador Discuss Parliamentary Cooperation

Amman, Nov. 10 (Petra) – Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament Mazen Qadi met on Monday with the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Kingdom, Hamad Rashid Marri, for discussions on relations, particularly parliamentary cooperation.
During the meeting, both sides underscored the deep-rooted ties between the two countries under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II and his brother, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. They highlighted the importance of maintaining coordination and continuous consultations to serve the common interests of both nations and further strengthen their longstanding relationship.
Qadi noted that the positions of both countries have consistently supported Arab causes and that the close bonds between Jordan and Kuwait reflect mutual trust, respect, and appreciation built over decades of cooperation.
For his part, Marri stressed that relations are based on strong and enduring foundations and continue to advance in various fields. He also praised His Majesty King Abdullah II's wise leadership, courageous positions, and pivotal role in promoting regional security and stability.
