Shaoyu Yuan

Dr. Shaoyu Yuan is a scholar of international relations with expertise on foreign policy, soft power, and Sino–U.S. relations. He conducts research and teaches at Rutgers University and New York University. Dr. Yuan is the author of two books and numerous scholarly articles. His work has appeared in academic journals such as International Affairs, East Asia, The Pacific Review, Journal of Contemporary Eastern Asia, Humanities and Social Science Communications. His work has been featured in prominent media outlets, including The New York Times, USA Today, The Hill, The Economist, Al Jazeera, and The Diplomat. He holds a B.A. from Centre College, an M.S. from Northeastern University, and a Ph.D. from Rutgers University.
