(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency)
Amman, Nov. 5 (Petra) -- The University of Jordan (UJ) has won a new European project titled "From Heritage to Hashtag: Youth, Artificial Intelligence, and Cultural Expression," under the Erasmus+ Virtual Exchanges program, which aims to promote cultural exchange and dialogue between youth in Europe and the Southern Mediterranean through digital media.
According to a UJ statement on Wednesday, the project seeks to empower students, youth, and those working with them to use digital tools and artificial intelligence to express their cultural identities and produce creative content that reflects cultural diversity.
Youth participants from Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, Italy, Spain, and Greece will take part in joint virtual labs to develop diverse digital content, including videos, digital posters, reimagined stories, and modern forms of cultural expression.
The project's outcomes will be showcased on a multilingual platform. It also includes specialized training programs for youth workers and students, along with an interactive tool titled "My Learning Path," linked to the Youthpass certificate, designed to enhance self-learning, digital, and creative skills.
Partner institutions include the Jordan Youth Innovation Forum, Jovesolides Egypt, the Lebanese Development Network, Italy's TIA Formazione Internazionale APS, Rome Tre University, the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation, and Greece's Innovation Hive.
