Kuwait Holds Training Workshop With Iraq's Planning Ministry

BAGHDAD, Nov 4 (KUNA) -- Director General of the Arab Planning Institute in Kuwait (API) Dr. Adel Al-Wugayan said on Tuesday that the institute in cooperation with the Iraq's Ministry of Planning organized training workshop about creative leadership and institutional excellence.
Dr. Al-Wugayan told KUNA that the five-day workshop is part of a series of programs implemented by the API to serve its member Arab states, noting that Iraq is among its founding members.
He emphasized that cooperation with Iraq's Ministry of Planning is aimed at strengthening human capacities and providing advisory and research services to support sustainable development in Iraq and the Arab region.
On the sidelines of the workshop, Dr. Al-Wugayan held several meetings with Iraqi officials, reviewing the API's developmental efforts, as well as ways to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise in leadership training. (end)
