'Satisfaction With Govt Services In Qatar Rises 86%'
Doha: President of the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau and Secretary General of the National Planning Council H E Dr. Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Mubarak Al Khalifa revealed that the satisfaction rate with government services has increased from 58 percent to 86 percent.
In his remarks during the panel on“Strengthening Social Dialogue and Participatory Governance,” at the“Doha Solutions Platform for Social Development,” held on Monday as part of the Second World Summit for Social Development, hosted by the State of Qatar from November 4-6, he said that the State of Qatar affirms its commitment to raising the level of satisfaction of beneficiaries of government services to more than 90 percent in the coming period. He pointed out that these ambitions come within a clear approach followed by Qatar based on setting goals, measuring them and monitoring them continuously to ensure the quality of performance and improve the government experience.
In this context, he highlighted the launch of the“Sharek” platform, a collaborative platform that enables beneficiaries to evaluate government services and the individuals providing them, thereby enhancing transparency and accountability and encouraging professional excellence. The platform is one of the outcomes of the updates made to the human resources law and the civil service law, which regulate the provision of public services by civil servants in accordance with best international practices.
