Al Shira’aa and GRANDPRIX Events Sign Five-Year Partnership for the Chantilly Classic CSI4*
(MENAFN- Dark Horse Communications) Agreement sees HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan named as Honorary President of Chantilly Classic

Abu Dhabi, UAE, 03 November 2025 – Al Shira’aa, a leading player in equestrian sport and GRANDPRIX Events has announced a five-year partnership. This agreement marks a new milestone for two flagship events on the French calendar: the Chantilly Classic (CSI4*) and the Sotheby’s International Realty CSIO Deauville.

Starting in 2026, Al Shira’aa, a leading force dedicated to the development of future generations of riders, and a partner of prestigious international events, will become Title Partner of the Chantilly Classic, with H.H. Sheikha Fatima Bint Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan serving as Honorary President. The partnership also extends to Deauville, where Al Shira’aa will act as Official Partner of the CSIO3*.

“My mission to bring our beloved sport to the people remains steadfast. By supporting legacy shows, grassroots competition and youth development pathways, we can help to create an accessible and equitable playing field for showjumping globally,” said HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Founder of Al Shira’aa. “Partnering with Chantilly and Deauville allows us to contribute to events that celebrate both sporting excellence and we are proud to play a role in ensuring their continued success for years to come.”

“Collaborating with Al Shira’aa, a global symbol of excellence and generosity in equestrian sport, is both an honour and a source of pride,” said Vincent Goehrs, President of GRANDPRIX Events. “Together, we share the same ambition: to preserve the legacy of historic shows at the heart of equestrian territories, while opening them to a new generation of riders and audiences.”

Each summer, the Chantilly Classic and the CSIO 3* of Deauville enliven the French equestrian scene. The former transforms the iconic hippodrome de Chantilly, just steps from the historic town centre and the magnificent Château de Chantilly, into a stage for sport and elegance, while the latter brings the Normandy coast to life with its Nations Cup and unique atmosphere. These two unmissable highlights of European show jumping are now united under the international vision of Al Shira’aa, also a key player in horse racing and breeding worldwide.

Already a partner of prestigious European shows such as Hamburg and Hickstead, Al Shira’aa is now extending its reach to France. The partnership also supports the development of showjumping in the United Arab Emirates, giving Emirati riders supported by Al Shira’aa the opportunity to compete at Deauville and Chantilly, while the UAE National Team will take part in the Nations Cup of Deauville.

By joining forces over the long term, GRANDPRIX Events and Al Shira’aa reaffirm their shared commitment to the longevity of historic competitions and the promotion of equestrian sport on the international stage.
