Russian Sabotage And Reconnaissance Groups Activity On Border Decreases, But Threat Remains Demchenko
“Speaking about the direct line of the border and enemy actions when attempting to cross it, fortunately, the activity of Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups has somewhat decreased recently. It has not disappeared entirely, but the number of such infiltration attempts has dropped significantly,” Demchenko noted.
At the same time, he assured that all components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine are actively countering attempts by enemy saboteurs to penetrate Ukrainian territory - monitoring their movements and engaging them when such groups are detected. He also emphasized that enemy activity by small infantry groups within the Khotin and Yunakivka communities of the Sumy region has considerably decreased.
