Global Educators Converge At Educreator 2025 To Shape The Future Of Experiential Learning


(MENAFN- ForPressRelease) Dubai, 3 November, 2025: EduCreator 2025, hosted at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), Dubai, brought together 28 leading academic experts from five countries, including India, China, Kenya, Rwanda, and the United States, representing diverse educational institutions and thought leadership in K-12 and higher education.

The second year of the for the symposium, this year the attendees focused on the theme "Future-Ready Educators, Unified by Experience." The two-day event facilitated global dialogues and set in motion actionable frameworks for advancing experiential learning, cross-cultural collaboration and aligning education with real-world challenges.

Dr. Yousef Al Assaf, President of RIT Dubai, Ms. Kathleen B. Davis, Vice President for Enrollment Management and Associate Provost, set the tone for a collaborative experience toward advancing education delivery.

"EduCreator 2025 is a gathering of educators, innovators and thought leaders who are passionate about reimagining how learning connects the world beyond the classroom," said Ms. Davis. "At RIT we have always believed education should be bold, experiential and deeply connected to real-world challenges. Our campuses around the world in Rochester, Dubai and beyond reflect that same belief - when students learn by doing, they become creators, problem-solvers and changemakers."

Day two sparked frameworks for embedding experiential learning across K-12 and higher education. An insightful panel titled "The Future of Experiential Learning: From Buzzword to Systemic Change" explored how curriculum design, institutional alliances, and educator training can drive hands-on learning at scale.

Panelists included Dr. Bhavanishankar, Director, Omega Schools, India; Ms. Prabha Dixit, Principal, Akshar Arbol International School, Chennai; Ms. Immaculate Mary Musambai, Career Guidance Officer, Makini Schools, Kenya; and Dr. Chao (Alex) Li, Director of Innovation Center, Tsinglan School, China.

Additionally, interactive workshops such as "Crafting Experiences That Matter" and "Designing the Future-Ready Student Journey" empowered participants to rethink traditional lesson plans and build global student personas. Delegates examined case studies from India, Kenya, and China, showcasing replicable models for experiential integration and community-based learning.

On the concluding day, the comprehensive workshop "Experiential Pathways in Action" highlighted RIT's outreach initiatives and student-led innovation, offering a blueprint for scalable impact. A thought-provoking panel discussion, "Navigating Global Education in Uncertain Times," addressed past, current and the future landscape and offered reflection on managing change can be accomplished with a strong ecosystem of dedicated individuals.

The key speakers in the session included Mr. Sundar Kumarasamy, CEO & Founder, Excelerate, Ms. Pamela Srivastava from Shiv Nadar Foundation, Ms. Rashmi Lohan, Principal, Aditya Birla Public School, India; Ms. Fen (Tilly) Zou, Vice Principal, HD Ningbo School, China; and Mr. Ezechias Nshimiyimana, College Counselor, Isomo Academy, Rwanda.
Mr. Saleh Yammout, Vice President for Finance and Administration, RIT Dubai offered the following during the panel, "The future of education is about an ecosystem that brings together learners, their families, educators, universities and industry."

He added, "Change is inevitable - and Dubai stands as a global leader in embracing that change. How we prepare and respond through thought leadership, collaboration and innovation in reimagining learning models will only strengthen and empower our students for the future."

He went to note that the UAE Ministry of Education has launched a range of national initiatives to embed practical, hands-on, work-integrated and experiential learning across the higher education landscape. There reforms signal a shift away from purely theoretical degrees towards real-world readiness where students engage in projects, industry-partnerships, and innovation early in their academic careers.

The summit culminated in the co-creation of the EduCreators Charter 2025, a transformative framework for integrating experiential learning into global education systems. Delegates unanimously committed to building partnership pathways, influencing policy, and launching pilot programs across schools, universities, and industry. Those attending will also reconvene through virtual forums, regional chapters and future meetings to share insights and track progress on ideas implemented because of the event.
