(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency)
Amman, Nov. 2 (Petra) – The Amman Vision Investment and Development (AVID) announced on Sunday the launch of its eighth package of investment opportunities, featuring a range of land plots designated for commercial, family entertainment, sports, office, and industrial uses.
In a statement, AVID, the investment and development arm of the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) and the main developer of its investment lands and licenses, said it has completed 52 projects with a total investment value of JD 410 million, which developed over 600,000 square meters of land since its establishment in early 2020.
AVID added that its investments include medical, commercial, and entertainment projects, most notably the Kingdom for Healthcare and Medical Education project, implemented in partnership with the Saudi-Jordanian Investment Fund. The project spans 180,000 square meters and carries an investment value of JD 280 million.
AVID is also implementing the Jordanian American Health (JAH) Healthcare Center project in the Yasmeen area, a multi-specialty medical complex covering 29,000 square meters with an investment exceeding JD 15 million. The seven-story facility will provide clinics, centers of excellence, laboratories, and a floor dedicated to emergency and urgent care services.
Current investments also include projects for family entertainment, adventure tourism, and sports academies in various locations across Amman.
Additionally, AVID is developing a network of electric-powered vehicle charging stations as part of the Amman Smart City initiative, one of the GAM's strategic projects for 2022–2026, aimed at supporting the shift toward electric mobility and enhancing its infrastructure.
