India Delivers 16 Tonnes Of Medical Aid To Afghanistan
KABUL (Pajhwok): India has donated 16 tonnes of medicines and medical equipment to Afghanistan, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) announced on Sunday.
According to the ministry, the assistance is part of India's ongoing commitment to supporting Afghanistan's health sector and strengthening bilateral cooperation in disease prevention.
The aid is intended to enhance Afghanistan's capacity to combat diseases such as malaria, dengue fever and leishmaniasis, which continue to pose serious public health challenges in various parts of the country.
The ministry emphasized that the donation underscores India's role as a reliable partner in promoting health, stability, and humanitarian cooperation in the region, highlighting its long-term partnership and development support for Afghanistan.
