Kuwait's Al-Abdulrazzaq Comes First At Aquabike World Championship

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DOHA, Nov 1 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's five-time world champion Yousef Al-Abdulrazzaq won on Saturday the first place in the "Slalom" race category in the final round of the Aquabike World Championship - Qatar Grand Prix for jet skiing - in the Qatari capital, Doha.
Speaking to KUNA in a statement, head of Kuwait Sea Sports Club Marzouq Al-Daihani expressed pleasure for Al-Abdulrazzaq's position which is added to Kuwait's record.
The win has a special taste as it came after a one-season suspension due to the injury of Al-Abdulrazzaq who strongly returned to international competitions, Al-Daihani added.
This return shows the persistence and determination of Kuwaiti athletes who pursue raising their country's flag in international arenas, he stated.
Doha Marine Sports Club is hosting the final round of this championship from October 30 until November 1. (end) mmj
