Visit Kuwait Platform Is On -- Information Minister

KUWAIT, Nov 1 (KUNA) -- Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi said on Saturday the online platform, "visit Kuwait" has been launched effective today, November 1.
It is the single national gateway that is helpful for visitors to obtain a tourist visa to come to Kuwait and attend various cultural, artistic and entertainment activities, according to the promotion advertisements posted online, said the minister in a statement to KUNA.
It provides a smart interactive map, exclusive offers, planning full activities for the visitors, in addition to instant notifications in Arabic and English.
Launch of the platform has come as a translation of the information ministry's strategic vision aimed at bolstering the State of Kuwait as a leading tourist and cultural destination in the region, he said, alluding also to the unified promotion efforts intended to attain objectives of neo Kuwait 2035, aimed at diversifying income resources.
It will be, he continued, the single official gateway that provides to local and international companies residency visas to hold all kinds of activities, enhance partnership between the private and public sectors in line with the political leadership's aspirations for overhauling the industry of tourism and entertainment in the State of Kuwait.
