Moci Organises Breast Cancer Awareness Workshop
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in association with the Qatar Cancer Society (QCS), organised an interactive workshop titled“Breast Cancer Awareness” at the ministry's headquarters, marking International Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is observed each October.
The event focused on enhancing understanding of breast cancer and highlighting the importance of regular screening in reducing its spread.
It addressed key topics such as an overview of the disease and related statistics, risk factors, early signs and symptoms, and preventive measures.
Participants were encouraged to undergo routine check-ups to detect any changes early, thereby improving recovery prospects and supporting overall well-being, the statement added.
