Al-Sisi, UAE President Discuss Investment Ties, Gaza Situation In Abu Dhabi
During the visit, the two presidents toured Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, where Al-Sisi was briefed on the university's academic programmes, research activities, and innovations in artificial intelligence and advanced technologies, as part of the UAE's strategy to build a knowledge-based economy.
At a working lunch, Al-Sisi praised the high level of coordination and cooperation between Egypt and the UAE, stressing that Egypt remains open to further Emirati investment, particularly in trade and investment-related sectors. He described relations between the two countries as a cornerstone of Arab national security and a key pillar of regional stability.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed reaffirmed the UAE's commitment to deepening cooperation with Egypt, especially in economic and investment fields, highlighting the strength and steady development of bilateral ties.
The two leaders also exchanged views on regional developments, underscoring the importance of Arab solidarity in the face of ongoing challenges and the need to resolve regional crises through peaceful means, while preserving state sovereignty and stability.
On Gaza, both presidents stressed the necessity of fully implementing the ceasefire agreement, ensuring unimpeded access for humanitarian aid, accelerating early recovery and reconstruction efforts, and advancing a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution.
They further emphasized the importance of continued consultation and coordination on regional and international issues to support stability, security, and development across the region.
