Tony Silva is Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of British Columbia. His areas of research include gender, sexuality, rural sociology, political identity, and paranormal belief, through both qualitative and quantitative methods. He is the author of Still Straight: Sexual Flexibility among White Men in Rural America and Daddies of a Different Kind: Sex and Romance Between Older and Younger Adult Gay Men.
