Kuwait Embassy In Germany Holds A Forum To Promote For Cooperation

BERLIN, Oct 28 (KUNA) -- The Embassy of Kuwait in Germany held an economic forum on Tuesday, at the Kuwaiti Embassy in Berlin to promote prospects for cooperation and partnership with Germany.
In a statement to KUNA, the Kuwaiti Embassy said that the forum was organized in cooperation with the German organization NUMOV, which focuses on promoting economic development between Germany and the countries of the Near and Middle East.
The event also featured the participation of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) via video conference and was attended by representatives of 34 German companies from various commercial and investment sectors.
Kuwait's ambassador to Germany Reem Al-Khaled emphasized in a statement to KUNA the importance of this forum in strengthening the economic partnership between Kuwait and Germany and expanding prospects for trade cooperation between the two sides.
Ambassador Al-Khaled concluded by reaffirming Kuwait's keenness to enhance economic cooperation with Germany, praising the distinguished level of bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
She also expressed her hope to host German companies and institutions at the 9th Gulf-European Business Forum, which will be held in Kuwait next November, in order to explore further opportunities for joint cooperation within the framework of Kuwait Vision 2035.
For her part, Head of the Projects Evaluation and Incentives Department at KDIPA Bashayer Al-Otaibi gave a presentation introducing the investment environment in Kuwait and the incentives offered by the Authority to German investors. (end)
