69th National School Games In Wushu Begin Today In Srinagar
Srinagar- The Directorate of Youth Services & Sports J&K is all set to host the 69th Edition of the National School Games in the discipline of Wushu (Under-17 Boys and Girls) at Indoor Sports Complex, Wazir Bagh, Srinagar. The championship will witness the participation of approximately 41 teams from across the country, showcasing the best young Wushu talent at the national level.
This prestigious national event is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, October 28, while the competitions will continue till November 1. The event promises to bring together young athletes, coaches, and officials from various States, Union Territories and organisations reflecting the true spirit of sportsmanship and unity.
DYSS Director General Anuradha Gupta (KAS) has extended her best wishes to all the participating contingents and commended the Organising Committee for their dedicated efforts in preparing for the event. She expressed her confidence that the organising teams of all committees will exhibit the same enthusiasm and commitment that marked the recently concluded U-19 Boys Football National, which was also hosted successfully by DYSS.
