Qatar Participates In International Police Summit


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar participated in the International Police Summit (IPS 2025), held in Seoul, Korea, with senior police leaders and representatives of international organisations.

HE Assistant Undersecretary for Security Affairs at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) Sheikh Nayef bin Faleh bin Saud al-Thani led the MoI's delegation at the summit.

Participants at the summit adopted a joint declaration calling for the establishment of a practical global alliance to disrupt transnational crime networks, enhance international co-operation in combating cybercrime and AI-driven fraud, and develop mechanisms for information exchange and joint co-ordination among countries.

The MoI's participation reaffirms Qatar's commitment to actively contributing to international efforts to safeguard global security and strengthen police partnerships in innovation, training, and modern law enforcement technologies.
