
Govt Postpones 'Urs Sheikh Noor-Ud-Din' Holiday To Monday

Srinagar- The Government on Thursday ordered postponing of holiday on account of“Urs Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Sahib” to October 20 instead October 18.
“In partial modification of Government Order No. 2193-JK(GAD) of 2024 dated: 29.12.2024, it is hereby ordered that the provincial holiday (Kashmir Province only) on account of“Urs Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Sahib” shall now be observed on 20.10.2025 (Monday) instead of 18.10.2025 (Saturday),” Commissioner Secretary to the Government GAD said in an order.
