The flight from Tampa, Florida, landed at 8:27 p.m., and as soon as he appeared at the terminal accompanied by his parents, wife, and daughter, the crowd erupted with joy. Family, friends, and fans who had traveled from Las Tablas were waiting for him with banners, flags, and gray T-shirts with the number 72 and his last name on the back. Caballero, who completed his first full season with the Yankees, led the American League in stolen bases for the second consecutive year, with 49 steals, establishing himself as one of the fastest and most disciplined players on the circuit.

Amid the excitement, the infielder shared with the media about his great moment, his immediate future and the possibility of representing Panama in the 2026 World Baseball Classic. “They know that representing the country is important to me. It's always been part of my career and my dreams, so there are no restrictions.
