Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed that his country will monitor the implementation of the ceasefire agreement between the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and the Israeli entity in the Gaza Strip, in addition to participating in the reconstruction of the Strip.

Erdogan said in a statement Friday: "Finally, an agreement has been reached, paving the way for a lasting peace in Gaza. What matters now is the literal implementation of the agreement, and we will also do what is within our responsibility during the implementation phase."
