After qualifying as a barrister and solicitor, I completed a masters degree at UBC and worked doing legal research at the Canadian Institute of Resources Law. I became one of the foundation faculty of the School of Law at the University of Waikato in 1991, and have been there ever since. I specialize in energy and natural resources law and climate change law.
