PDP Announces Constituency In-Charges For South Kashmir

Srinagar- The Peoples Democratic Party on Monday nominated constituency in-charges for South Kashmir, Ganderbal, and Bandipora districts.

As per an official handout, PDP president Mehbooba Mufti has nominated senior leaders as constituency in-charges to strengthen the party's grassroots structure ahead of the upcoming Panchayat and local body elections.

The party has nominated Abdul Rehman Veeri (Anantnag East, Shangus constituency), Dr. Mehboob Beg (Anantnag), Adv. Sheikh Javed (Anantnag West), Dr. Shabir Siddiqi (Pahalgam), Iltija Mufti (Srigufwara, Bijbehara), Chowdhary Talib (Kokernag- ST), and Mohd Ashraf Malik (Dooru).

In South Kashmir's Kulgam district, the party has nominated Mohd Sartaj Madani (Devsar) and Gulzar Ahmad Dar (DH Pora).

The PDP has retained Zahoor Ahmad Mir (Pampore), Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra (Pulwama), and Rafiq Ahmad Naik (Tral) as constituency in-charges.

In Shopian district, Ajaz Ahmad Mir (Zainapora, Wachi) and Raja Waheed (Shopian) have been nominated as constituency in-charges.
