HBMSU Showcased Smart Education And Sustainability Leadership At WETEX 2025
(MENAFN- Mid-East Info) Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) participated in WETEX 2025, held under the theme“Innovation in Health, Safety, and Wellbeing.” The event highlighted HBMSU's pioneering role in smart education, health sciences, and sustainability through its School of Health Sciences and the School of Sustainability and Green Economy.
HBMSU presented its accredited programs, including the Master of Science in Hospital Management, Master of Public Health, Master in Environmental Management and Sustainability, as well as bachelor's programs in Health Administration and Sustainability and Green Economy. These programs integrated occupational safety, healthcare quality, and environmental health, equipping learners with the skills to lead in alignment with the UAE National Wellbeing Strategy 2031 and UAE Vision 2031. The University also highlighted innovative research addressing employee wellbeing, crisis management in healthcare, and enhanced care for chronic diseases such as cardiovascular conditions, diabetes, and obesity. These initiatives reflected HBMSU's commitment to evidence-based solutions that support national priorities and advance community wellbeing. Prof. Ahmed Ankit, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at HBMSU, said:“At HBMSU, we place innovation, research, and human capital development at the heart of our mission to support sustainable and resilient healthcare and education systems. WETEX offered an ideal platform to showcase our impact in health, sustainability, and wellbeing, while reinforcing HBMSU's global leadership in smart education.”
