(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DUBAI, Oct 1 (KUNA) -- Kuwait SC team have qualified for the quarterfinals of the 37th Arab Men's Basketball Championship after defeating their UAE rivals 88-83 on Wednesday.
The match was balanced since both teams interchangeably controlled the game until the last minutes, but Kuwaitis could reach the quarterfinals.
Meanwhile, Kuwait's Qadisa were defeated by Bahrain's Manama 70-75 in the same competition held in Dubai, although the game was almost equivalent between the two sides.
The championship will continue until October 6 with the participation of 16 Arab teams. (end)
