Moi To Auction Significant Car Plate Numbers In October

Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) announced the release of new significant car plate numbers, with the auction set to begin on October 5, 2025, at 8 am via the Sooum application.
According to the MoI, the process will begin with an Expression of Interest period lasting 72 hours, followed by a 24-hour internal bidding window.
Interested individuals can select a number, pay a deposit, and wait for the specified period.
If only one person expresses interest, the number will be sold directly at the quoted price.
However, if more than one person participates, an internal bidding process will take place among the interested parties.
The ministry emphasized that the Sooum app, available on the App Store, Google Play, and Huawei AppGallery.
