Doha, Qatar: The Philippine School Doha (PSD) officially welcomed its new set of Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Board of Directors and HRPTA Officers during a face-to-face oath-taking and induction ceremony held at the Edgar V. Bondoc Gymnasium on campus. The event formally signaled the start of collaborative efforts for Academic Year 2025–2026.
The programme underscored PSD's continuing commitment to strengthening the partnership between parents and teachers, with the shared goal of advancing holistic education and fostering community engagement among Filipino families in Qatar.

In light of this announcement, the PTA President, Libor highlighted the value of collaborative leadership, noting that the PTA is not only a support system for academic excellence but also a pillar in nurturing Filipino culture and values within the Qatar-based community.
“The PTA is for all its members, not just one person heading it. Its true strength lies in our shared leadership and collective effort,” he said.
To further strengthen participation, six committees were organized, namely finance, sports and recreation, community and social responsibility (CSR), ways and means, learning and development, as well a programme, infrastructure, and student assistance.
All HRPTA Presidents were likewise encouraged to be actively involved in supporting the PTA Board's initiatives this year.
The PTA further lined up a wide range of programmes that combine academic support, community service, and school-wide engagement. These include the annual sportsfest, recycling projects, PSD Got Talent, community outreach programmes, online webinars and workshops, hosting of community-centered events, and active support for the Junior High School Department, which will lead key school activities this year.
