Land Allocated For Refugee Township In Paghman
KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MoRR) says it has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MoAIL) to allocate 566.5 acres of land for the construction of a township for refugees in Paghman district of the capital Kabul.
In a statement, the refugee ministry said the MoU was signed between Maulvi Shakarullah Shakir, head of Return and Reintegration at MoRR and Maulvi Syed Mohammad Saeed, head of Land Transfer and Distribution at the General Directorate of Land of MoAIL.
According to the statement, based on the MoU, 566.5 jeribs of land in Paghman district of Kabul province will be transferred from MoAIL to MoRR for the purpose of building a township for refugees.
The ministry added that the allocation of land for the township was made in line with a proposal submitted by MoRR.
