Building In Kharkiv Hit By Shahed Drones On August 18 Declared Beyond Restoration

“The building in the Industrial District, which was targeted by five Shahed-type drones on August 18, has been declared unsafe and beyond repair,” the post says.

According to the city council, an examination conducted by a certified company found the building unfit for further use. According to experts, the building has completely lost its economic value and has critical damage to its load-bearing and enclosing structures, posing a risk of collapse. The estimated level of damage exceeds 81%.

It is noted that the mayor of Kharkiv , Ihor Terekhov, the leadership of the district administration and the department of improvement, reconstruction, and renovation met with the residents of the building. People were promised help with paperwork for the“e-Restoration” program.

"We will set up a commission and provide all the necessary documents so that you can quickly complete the paperwork, obtain certificates, and purchase new housing. This building will be demolished. I will contact the regional military administration to ensure that the necessary decision is made as soon as possible. The house will immediately be entered into the database, and you will be able to submit applications to“eReconstruction,” Terekhov said.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the morning of August 18, Kharkiv was attacked by Russian UAVs, and fires broke out in the Industrial District of the city. Seven people were killed as a result of the drone attack.
