    • Regional Alignment – Ensuring the Virgin Islands aligns with peer jurisdictions, particularly other UK Overseas Territories.
  • Financial proportion of the increase

    The adjustment represents a small portion of the overall salary review package; Members' adjustments account for approximately 2.9 percent of the total 2024 salary increase package (valued at $27.7 million); and the bulk of the funding was directed toward increasing salaries across the wider public service, rather than being concentrated on Members alone.
