SAESOL Tech Redefines The U.S. V2X Security Market With The Webtrust Assurance Program And Production CTL Listing

SAESOL Tech announced today that its Root Certificate Authority (Root CA) has been successfully validated by the WebTrust assurance program and has been officially added to the SCMS Manager's Production Certificate Trust List (CTL). SAESOL Tech becomes the second organization to appear on the production list in the U.S.
WebTrust is a globally recognized third-party audit program that verifies the operational integrity and security practices of Certificate Authorities (CAs). In the V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) environment, where vehicles and roadside units continuously authenticate messages, recognition as part of the Production CTL is a critical milestone for establishing trust in the field. SAESOL Tech's listing confirms that its PKI infrastructure can serve as a trusted anchor for production-grade V2X devices and infrastructure.
This milestone follows SAESOL Tech's successful interoperability testing at OmniAir's Plugfest over the years, where multiple vendors validated certificate operations across on-board units (OBUs), roadside units (RSUs) and traffic management center (TMC). Passing these scenarios provides strong assurance to industry partners that SAESOL-issued certificates can integrate seamlessly in multi-vendor deployments.
SAESOL Tech is also participating in initiatives led by the U.S. federal government and state governments aimed at advancing connected vehicle deployments. This engagement ensures that there are now multiple trusted SCMS vendors in the market, enabling state governments and agencies to expand C-ITS services with enhanced stability and confidence. The presence of multiple vendors also fosters healthy competition, which can lead to higher quality solutions while helping agencies optimize their budgets.
"The successful completion of the WebTrust assurance program and our listing on the Production CTL are pivotal accomplishments that recognize the robustness and reliability of our V2X security framework." said Harry Han, CEO of SAESOL Tech. "Our active role in the U.S. V2X deployment and successful interoperability testing with OmniAir are clear indicators of our readiness to secure the next generation of transportation. We are excited to bring our trusted solutions to the North American market and beyond."
Meanwhile, following its participation in the ITS World Congress held in Atlanta last August, SAESOL Tech will participate OmniAir Plugfest event in Michigan in early October to showcase its interoperability capabilities while further expanding businesses in the U.S. V2X market.
