SSU Foils Russian Spy Ring Collecting Information On Defense System In Donetsk Region
The suspects were carrying out tasks for the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation. Two of them acted together, two others separately, but all had a common supervisor.
Two agents collected intelligence data in Dnipro, where they worked at a local food warehouse. They passed on the addresses of military units that purchased food from their warehouse to an FSB employee. The perpetrators secretly photographed delivery notes with the recipients' details and sent them to their supervisor via messenger.

The other two suspects are residents of the Kramatorsk district of the Donetsk region. One of them works at the post office. Under the pretext of business trips, he recorded the fortified areas of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the front line. Another agent filmed the movement of Ukrainian Armed Forces cargo trains toward the eastern front from a specially equipped location.

The enemy's special services recruited accomplices from Dnipro through Telegram channels where people look for“easy money.” The other two came to their attention through their relatives in the temporarily occupied territory.
The Russian invaders planned to use the data collected by the suspects for air strikes and long-range artillery strikes.
