Australia Awards Order Of St. Panteleimon For First Time For Aid To Ukraine

The winner of the award in the individual category was Dianna (Darka) Senko, an activist in the Ukrainian-Australian community and chair of the Humanitarian Aid Committee of the Union of Ukrainian Organizations in Australia. The winner in the organizational category was Ukrainian Guardian Angels (directors: Mykola Yaniv and Yevheniia Bohatova).

The Order of St. Panteleimon, an award for professionalism and compassion, is the highest public award of a professional nature, awarded for significant achievements in the field of healthcare and the spiritual and physical development of Ukrainian society.



The award is presented to individuals who demonstrate high professionalism and spiritual and moral qualities and who have achieved significant personal results in the field of healthcare, charity, and public activities.

As reported by Ukrinform, last year in New York, an award ceremony was hel for the Order of St. Panteleimon public initiative, which honors American doctors and charitable organizations that have made significant contributions to the field of medicine in Ukraine.
