Mild Weather Continues Through Thursday

Amman, Sept. 15 (Petra) -- Moderate weather is forecast to prevail on Monday over the highlands and plains, while relatively hot conditions are expected in the desert areas and hotter weather will dominate the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.
The department's report indicates that temperatures will drop slightly on Tuesday, with moderate conditions continuing across most regions until Thursday. Hot weather will persist in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, accompanied by some low-altitude clouds. Winds will be northwesterly and moderate in speed.
On Monday, temperatures are forecast to reach highs of 33 C and lows of 21 C in eastern Amman, and 31 C to 19 C in western Amman. In the northern highlands, they will range between 29 C and 17 C, while in the Sharah highlands they will record 28 C and 15 C.
Desert areas are expected to see highs of 36 C and lows of 18 C, while the plains will range between 33 C and 20 C. The northern Jordan Valley will reach 39 C and 23 C, the southern Jordan Valley 40 C and 26 C, the Dead Sea 39 C and 24 C, and Aqaba 39 C and 25 C.
