Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: The date is set and excitement is building as The Baby Expo, the Middle East's largest maternity, baby, and toddler event, announces its first-ever event in Saudi Arabia.

Organised in collaboration with QiDZ Saudi - the leading family leisure, entertainment and activities app in KSA and UAE - The Baby Expo Riyadh will take place from October 30th to 31st at The Arena Riyadh Venue.

Ahead of the launch, new research commissioned by The Baby Expo has revealed Saudi Arabia's parents are investing SAR 60,261 (US $16,271) on average on products, equipment, and services during their child's first year* demonstrating a clear appetite for trusted, high-quality products.

The survey, conducted by Censuswide, found almost three-quarters (70%) of respondents agree they are more likely to purchase from brands with a physical presence in Saudi Arabia**, with 67% saying they are more likely to stay loyal to brands that appear at local events.

Additionally, among parents and parents-to-be, safety and reputation are the most important factors in trusting a brand for their children, with nearly two-thirds (61%) highlighting safety, and 48% saying reputation mattered most when making purchases.

The findings also draw attention to key challenges in the current market, with over half of respondents (54%) pointing to high prices, limited variety (33%), and a lack of reliable reviews (32%) when shopping for baby products in the Kingdom. What's more, with 70%** valuing cultural alignment, The Baby Expo Riyadh arrives at the perfect time, offering parents a trusted platform to explore a wide range of products, ask questions directly, and discover solutions tailored to the needs of their families.
