Swedish Minister Slams Israeli Attack

Doha: Minister of State for International Cooperation H E Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad met yesterday with the visiting Minister of International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade of Sweden H E Benjamin Dousa.

Discussions during the meeting dealt with cooperation and relations between the two countries and developments in the region, in addition to a number of topics of mutual interest.

The Swedish Minister expressed Sweden's solidarity with Qatar and its strong condemnation of the treacherous Israeli attack that targeted Doha, stressing that it is a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms and of the sovereignty of Qatar.

He affirmed his country's appreciation for Qatar's mediation efforts, highlighting the partnership in humanitarian and development work between the two countries.
