As Ukrinform previously reported, the Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List (PURL) is a new mechanism focused on supplying Ukraine with weapons listed as priority needs. It allows NATO member countries to fund deliveries of U.S. weapons and technologies through voluntary contributions.

Eleven countries have already joined the PURL program.

As of September 6, the initiative had raised $2 billion, and President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine is working to increase funding for the program.
