88 Clashes On Frontline, Pokrovsk Sector Is Most Intense


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the update on Facebook , posting the data as of 16:00 on Thursday, September 11.

“Since the beginning of the day, there have been 88 combat clashes on the frontline. Our defenders are stopping the enemy, holding the line, and disrupting the Russians' plans,” the report said.

According to the General Staff, Russian artillery shelling affected areas of populated settlements, in particular Korenok, Shalyhine, Novovasylivka, Rivne, Kozache, Malushyne, Seredyna-Buda in the Sumy region; Mykolaivka, Bohdanove, Dibrova, Halahanivka, Zaliznyi Mist in the Chernihiv region.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors , there were two combat clashes, one of which is still ongoing. Today, the enemy carried out seven air strikes, dropping 15 guided aerial bombs, and carried out 70 shellings, including two from multiple launch rocket systems. At the same time, Ukrainian units carried out active operations in the areas of several settlements in the Sumy region. They were successful, advancing up to 150 meters in some areas and inflicting losses on the enemy's manpower.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, there were eight combat clashes in the Vovchansk area and toward Odradne, three enemy attacks continue.

In the Kupiansk sector , two combat clashes are ongoing. Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders four times in the areas of Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, and toward Kurylivka.

In the Lyman sector , ten combat clashes took place today, four of which are still ongoing. The enemy attacked in the areas of the settlements of Shandryholove and Drobysheve.

In the Siversk sector , the enemy carried out seven attacks today in the areas of Hryhorivka, Serebrianka, Dronivka, and Vyimka; another combat currently continues.

In the Kramatorsk sector , Ukrainian defenders repelled one attack by the occupiers. The enemy carried out offensive actions, trying to advance in the Stupochky area.

The Defense Forces stopped the enemy attack in the Toretsk sector . The invader tried to advance to the settlement of Poltavka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian troops attempted 28 times to advance to the settlements of Nykanorivka, Maiak, Novoekonomichne, Rodynske, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Muravka, Dachne, Filiia, and toward the settlement of Pokrovsk. Ukrainian defenders have already repelled 24 attacks, and fighting continues.

In the Novopavlivka sector , Ukrainian defenders repelled nine enemy attacks near the settlements of Ivanivka, Filiia, Zelenyi Hai, Tolstoi, Maliivka, Komyshuvakha, Olhivske, Poltavka, and toward Novoivanivka. Five more enemy attacks are ongoing.

In the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers carried out air strikes on the settlements of Bilohiria and Zaliznychne.

In the Orikhiv sector , the enemy did not carry out any offensive actions.

In the Prydniprovske sector , the aggressor carried out one futile attack on the Ukrainian positions. Odradokamyanka was subjected to an air strike.

There were no significant changes in the situation in other sectors.

As reported by Ukrinform, the enemy is conducting a rotation near Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region and is transferring its troops that were deployed in the Kherson region there.
