Amir Receives Phone Call From Greek Prime Minister
Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call today from the Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic HE Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
HE the Greek Prime Minister affirmed his solidarity with the State of Qatar and his deep concern over the Israeli attack on the city of Doha, expressing that it represents a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms and a serious threat to the security of the State of Qatar and the countries of the region.
He stressed that diplomacy and dialogue are the only means to restore stability and achieve sustainable peace in the Middle East.
For his part, HH the Amir affirmed that the State of Qatar will take all measures to protect its security and territorial integrity, and maintain its sovereignty in the face of the treacherous Israeli attack.
HH the Amir expressed his thanks to the Greek Prime Minister for his genuine sentiments and his country's appreciated solidarity with the State of Qatar and its people.
