Charlie Kirk Dead: US Conservative Wished Women 'Must've Children First And Then Have A Nice Job'
During a September 8 appearance on FOX News' The Ingraham Angle, the 31-year-old discussed what he called the“Gen Z Gender Divide” with host Laura Ingraham, as reported by USA Today.
Ingraham posed the question,“What is going on with women and not wanting to prioritise family?” Kirk to criticise modern cultural norms that, in his view, steer women away from motherhood and traditional family life in favour of career advancement.
Here's what Kirk said“They want to – first and foremost – have children, get married, and then have a nice job or to be able to travel," Kirk added. He also said that young women who voted for former Vice President Kamala Harris“don't value having children, and this is one of the reasons why we are seeing a fertility collapse in the West.”
“Less and less young people get married,” Kirk said.“We're seeing more and more people go into their 30s to have children.” Ingraham, 62, has never been married. She is the single parent of three children, as reported by USA Today.

After serving as a speechwriter in the Reagan administration, Laura Ingraham went on to earn a law degree before rising to prominence as a leading voice in conservative media. In 2008, she adopted her first child, a daughter from Guatemala who is now a student at Texas A&M. She later adopted two sons as well.
Kirk, a close ally of US President Donald Trump was shot and killed on Wednesday during an event at a Utah college, an attack the state's governor described as a political assassination carried out from a rooftop.
Details remained murky late Wednesday as law enforcement agencies released conflicting and evolving information. It was unclear whether a suspect was in custody or still at large.

FBI Director Kash Patel initially posted on social media that a "subject" had been taken into custody.
However, he later clarified that the individual had been released after questioning.
