AIRC Denounces Israeli Occupation Aggression On Qatari Capital

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 10 (KUNA) -- The Council of Arab and International Relations (AIRC) expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the treacherous aggression perpetrated by the Israeli occupation forces, which directly targeted the Qatari capital, Doha.
In a statement Wednesday, the Council affirms that this aggressive act constitutes an extremely dangerous development in the behavior of the occupying state, and reflects a systematic approach based on political recklessness and a brazen violation of the sovereignty of states, which threatens regional and international security and peace.
The Council commended the pioneering role and sincere efforts made by the State of Qatar, in its ongoing and serious attempts to stop the extermination machine that the Israeli occupation continues to operate with excessive brutality against defenseless civilians in the Gaza Strip.
Furthermore, the Council said that targeting Doha in this internationally criminal manner is nothing but a desperate and blatant response to Qatar's firm and biased positions towards the values of justice and right.
The AIRC expressed its absolute solidarity with Qatar and its people, affirming its permanent conviction that the unity of the Arab position through rebuilding the system of joint Arab action on sound foundations and pillars stemming from the unity of goals and destiny. (end)
