Jordan, Tunisia Explore Industrial Cooperation In Irbid

Ramtha, Sept 10 (Petra) – Irbid Chamber of Industry Chairman, Hani Abu Hassan, and Director General of the Tunisian Industrial Real Estate Agency, Qais Al-Mejri, on Wednesday discussed ways to boost cooperation in the fields of industry and investment.
Abu Hassan briefed the Tunisian delegation on Irbid's investment environment, noting Al-Hassan Industrial City as a key hub, with exports accounting for more than 90 percent of the governorate's industrial exports. He pointed to promising sectors for joint projects, noting that investment figures between the two countries remain modest.
He called for exchanging visits to explore opportunities, stressing Jordan's competitive advantages that enabled local products to reach global markets.
Jordan Industrial Estates Company Deputy Director, Oday Obeidat, said the Tunisian visit underlines ongoing cooperation in the industrial cities domain, covering planning, promotion, capacity building, and legislative development.
The visiting team toured Al-Hassan Industrial City, where Director Hani Diabat outlined investment procedures and services. They also called on Al Durra International For Food Products and Pella Pharmaceutical Co. to learn about their experiences.
