Kuwait's Seventh Relief Flight To Gaza Arrives In Jordan's Marka Airport


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) AMMAN, Sept 9 (KUNA) -- The seventh aircraft of Kuwait's humanitarian air bridge for Gaza, on Tuesday, arrived at Marka Military Airport in Jordan with 10 tons of food and aid onboard.
Organized by the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) in cooperation with the Ministries of Social Affairs, Foreign Affairs, and Defense, the aid is part of the "Kuwait Is by Your Side" humanitarian campaign in urgent solidarity.
Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan, Hamad Al-Marri, told KUNA that Kuwait has sped to the aid of the Palestinian people, extending air bridges and sending urgent humanitarian aid since October 7 of 2023, to alleviate their suffering.
He reasserted Kuwait's unwavering stance towards the just Palestinian cause and their right to self-determination.
The Ambassador hailed the coordination between Kuwait and Jordan in guaranteeing the prompt delivery of aid.
To date, Kuwait's second air bridge has delivered 100 tons of essential food supplies under the "Fazza for Gaza" campaign. (end)
