Singapore Denounces Israeli Occupation Airstrikes On Qatari Capital

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 10 (KUNA) -- The Singaporean Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) on Wednesday said that the Israeli occupation airstrikes targeting the Qatari capital, Doha, a flagrant violation of Qatar's sovereignty and a reprehensible and dangerous act.
In a statement, the ministry stressed that the Israeli airstrikes on Doha violated Qatar's sovereignty and undermined ongoing negotiations regarding a ceasefire and the release of hostages in Gaza, as well as Doha's efforts to reach an agreement on this matter, affirming that Singapore stands in solidarity with Qatar.
Following the attack, the Singaporean Embassy in Doha advised its citizens to exercise caution, avoid unnecessary travel, stay away from crowded areas, and adhere to the instructions of local authorities. (end)
