The 10Th Belt, Road Summit Kicks Off In Hong Kong

HONG KONG, Sept 10 (KUNA) -- The 10th Road and Belt Summit kicked off on Wednesday at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, supported by the Commissioner's Office of China's Foreign Ministry in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, with the participation of senior government officials and business leaders from various parts of the world.
The two-day summit held on September 10-11, is jointly organized by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), discusses prospects of trade and investment cooperation and the exchange of expertise in multiple fields, including infrastructure, energy, digital economy, and financial services.
Delegates from more than 18 Belt and Road economies, as well as regional and international organizations, are taking part in the gathering, which features sessions focusing on strengthening economic partnerships and advancing sustainable development.
Since its launch in 2016, the summit has attracted about 45,000 participants from over 120 countries worldwide, including Kuwait, underscoring its growing importance as a global platform. (end)
