MOSCOW, Sept 10 (KUNA) -- The Russian Foreign Ministry on Wednesday condemned the Israeli occupation's attack on the Qatari capital, Doha, and considered it a flagrant violation of international law and the UN Charter, calling on all parties to exercise restraint and avoid any actions that could escalate the situation in the region.
In a statement, the ministry said that the Israeli strikes represent a dangerous step that could lead to further tension in the region, stressing the importance of peaceful and political solutions to ensure regional stability and enhance international security.
Yesterday, the Israeli occupation launched an air strike on Doha, targeting residential headquarters housing a number of leaders of the political bureau of the Palestinian Hamas movement, in an aggressive act that sparked widespread Arab and international condemnation and solidarity with the State of Qatar.
