I am an educator dedicated to fostering effective and innovative teaching practices. Through numerous professional learning sessions, I have supported educators in integrating technology to enhance classroom experiences. My passion lies in the intersection of technological advancement and pedagogical effectiveness, advocating for a thoughtful balance in our digitally-rich world. In my own classroom, I design engaging, hands-on learning opportunities that intentionally cultivate critical thinking, computational thinking, and problem-solving skills in my students.

Drawing on my experience in educational technology coaching, I empower teachers in strategically leveraging technology. Currently, I serve as the Innovation, Design, Entrepreneurship and Skills (IDEAS) Program Coordinator at Rundle College, where I champion the expansion of the Computer Science and Robotics programs for K-12 and guide the school's AI rollout strategy. Recognizing the potential of Artificial Intelligence in Education, I am committed to helping educators understand and thoughtfully apply these tools to enrich student learning.

I have shared my insights at online and in-person conferences hosted by the University of Calgary, the Association of Independent Schools in Alberta (AISCA), the Alberta Technology Leaders in Education (ATLE), and the BC Science Teachers Association, as well as leading global professional learning initiatives for the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). I am also a Regional Lead for Let's Talk Science and have provided professional learning through the Alberta Regional Consortium. A certified ISTE educator, I am currently pursuing my doctorate at the Werklund School of Education at the University of Calgary.
