Srinagar- The Jammu and Kashmir police have launched a probe after a six-month pregnant woman was allegedly found under“mysterious” circumstances in Wahipora locality of Langate in North Kashmir's Kupwara district, officials said.
An official said that the woman was allegedly found dead under“mysterious” circumstances inside her home late last evening, reported news agency KNO.
The family members, who held a protest demonstration, alleged that she has been murdered, demanding a thorough probe into the incident and action against the culprits.
The official said they have taken cognisance of the matter and a probe has been launched to ascertain facts.
