Kuwait's Interior Min. Receives President Of Qatari, Arab Police Sports Federations

KUWAIT, Sept 1 (KUNA) -- First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah received on Monday President of the Qatari and the Arab Police Sports Federations Major General Khalid Al-Attiyah, along with Chairman of Kuwait's Police Sports Federation, Brigadier General Mubarak Ali Yousef Al Sabah.
Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Al-Sabah praised Al-Attiyah in a statement released by the ministry and acknowledged the Federations role in supporting and organizing sports activities between Arab policing bodies.
During the meeting, the officials discussed ways to develop cooperation in the police sports field, the statement continued.
Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Al-Sabah also received acting Head of the Liaison Department of the Arab and International Police Union First Lieutenant Alyaa Meshal Fahad, who presented her book on military training and development for female trainees in Kuwait.
The Minister praised her efforts, highlighting the Ministry of Interior's commitment to empowering women, improving their professional and athletic skills, and enhancing their role in security and police work. (end)
